Santorini Wedding Photographer – That’s Me!
In January this year, one of my dreams came true. I was booked to photograph a wedding in SANTORINI! I could not believe it. This island had been on my destination bucket list for some time, I was so excited to get to shoot a wedding here. And I can now add Santorini Wedding Photographer to my ever-growing destinations list!
The day finally arrived, and after spending the morning enjoying my hotel’s swimming pool I met Laura at her hotel in the afternoon for bridal prep. Being in Greece in the middle of June meant that the normal wedding schedule starts a lot later, with a ceremony time of 5:30pm to avoid the worst of the heat – instead of the normal 12-2pm ceremony times in the UK!
Time Flies When You’re Getting Married in Santorini
Needless to say that because of this, the day just flew by. Before I knew it we were at the venue and Laura & Ryan were married! A lovely beach ceremony was followed by drinks and then dinner with a sea view. It was perfect! Oceanids Estate was a great setting for such a special day.
After an emotional set of speeches came time for the first dance. And what a spectacular first dance it was! A fantastic way to end what was an amazing day. Plus I was able to shoot with Laura & Ryan again the following day, so that we were able to explore more of the island – you’ll see those photos here soon!
I can’t wait to return as a Santorini wedding photographer again at the end of August for another couple!
