If you don’t already know this about me, I love to travel.

There’s no better way of combining my passion for photographing weddings with my serial wanderlust than a good destination wedding!

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph lots of weddings abroad already, including in France, Italy, Greece, the Channel Islands & even the Caribbean – but there’s many more places I’d love to explore with my camera! My diary always opens earlier for destination bookings to ensure I can accommodate the travel, so it’s never too early to book.

Planning a destination wedding is stressful enough without worrying if your photos will be as amazing as you hope.

In my completely unbiased opinion, your photographer is the most important investment you can make in your wedding day. After all, once the food has been eaten and the flowers have wilted, your rings and photos will be all you have left to remember it by!

You want beautiful destination wedding photography

And you don’t know if you can trust the venue’s package photographer.

You’re worried about language barriers

And need to feel confident that your photographer understands what you want.

You want your whole day captured so you don’t miss a thing

But your venue’s package only includes a photographer for a couple of hours.

GOT SOME QUESTIONS?

Absolutely! It’s a great idea to have two perspectives of your day – particularly if you both want prep cover, as I can’t be in two places at once! The cost for a second shooter is £1000 (Europe) or £1500 (RoW) and includes their travel and accommodation costs too.
Other extras include additional hours (e.g. events before/after the wedding day), more albums/prints or extra rolls of 35mm film. If there’s something I haven’t mentioned that you’re interested in having, just let me know and I can put together a bespoke quote for you!

All travel and accommodation costs are included within my packages for destination wedding photography. No hidden costs later down the line! The only added costs to the above packages are any extras you might choose to include – such as a second shooter, or additional albums.

To secure your date, a non-refundable booking fee of 30% of the total package cost is required. The balance will become due a month prior to your wedding. It is advisable to confirm your booking with me as soon as possible to ensure I can keep the days either side clear for travel.

I’ll take care of this myself – you’ve got enough to do planning a wedding abroad! It’s much safer this way too, as if there’s any problems at the airport or anything I’ve got all the booking details and confirmations in my own accounts and emails etc.

If using your additional 2hrs coverage for a couple shoot, this would need to take place on either the day before or day after the wedding. (My packages include up to 3x nights accommodation, if you need your shoot on a different date an additional charge will apply to cover the extra stay). It’s up to you whether you’d like to use it as a practice run for the couple portraits on the wedding day, or if you want to get dressed up again and adventure to a different spot for some epic wedding portraits!

Rather than cap my services at a certain number of hours, I work with the schedule of your day to ensure that no special moments are missed. As a guide, I generally suggest my arrival around 2hrs before the ceremony to capture prep, and finishing around 30 minutes after the first dance to capture all those dance floor party shots!

Yes please! A nice hot meal is very much appreciated on a long wedding day. If a main meal cannot be provided and I have to leave site in search of food (which isn’t always possible when abroad) I could end up missing an important moment such as speeches, which tend to start immediately after you’ve finished your meal. For this reason it’s also a good idea to note to your caterers that it’s helpful to feed your photographer (and videographer if having one) straight after the top table, so we can eat and get set up ready to capture the next portion of your day as quickly as possible.

This typically depends on the time of year (i.e. longer in peak season) but even though my contract states 4-6 weeks I tend to deliver wedding galleries much quicker than this if I don’t have a lot of backlog. For couple sessions or other smaller shoots you can expect to wait up to 1 week for your gallery.

If you’ve booked my Paradise Collection and therefore have albums and prints included, you can choose your photos using the ‘Favourites’ list feature in your online gallery. I’ll put together your album design once I have your selection, and you can let me know if you’d like any changes before it goes into production.
If you booked the Palm Collection, you can still purchase lots of print products via the store in your online gallery.
