Alice & Theo’s day was quite an unusual one for me, compared to my previous weddings. For one thing, apart from me and the lovely couple there were just six other people there – the whole day! Definitely the smallest wedding I have ever photographed, however certainly not a lesser wedding in any way.
Alice wore a dress made by a friend from back home, and I LOVED her shoes from Irregular Choice. Alice is originally from Australia, and unfortunately her family couldn’t make it – instead they stayed up very late waiting for the post-ceremony FaceTime call to confirm – “we’re married!”
After the ceremony, Alice, Theo and I had a whole hour Uber-ing around London getting lots of couple portraits with different parts of the city. They were so chilled out and up for anything, which I loved. They certainly got a lot of attention walking across Westminster Bridge in their wedding get-up!
The day was finished with some champagne and nibbles at The Footman in Mayfair. Not to mention the most delicious red velvet cake I have ever eaten! A few short speeches and card-reading, followed by the first dance as husband and wife before the guests went their separate ways. Alice & Theo were off to enjoy a romantic meal just the two of them at Bob Bob Ricard, which I thought was a lovely way to end the night!
